Lilawati Rice Private Limited

Running Lilawati Rice Private Limited from here in Duliajan keeps us quite busy most days. Our place is over at 16 No Tiniali, specifically on Padampath. If you've ever been around this part of Dibrugarh, you know it’s a lively spot with a lot of movement. We operate out of C/O Pranab Jyoti Gogoi’s address at numbers 335 and 603. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the rice bags piled up, but we know where everything is. The air usually smells like dry grain and earth, which is something you get used to pretty fast. Most of the guys here are from the local villages nearby, and they know their way around rice better than anyone. We don't really have a big fancy storefront or anything like that. It’s more about the trucks coming in from the fields and getting the rice ready to go back out. Sometimes the rain in Assam makes things a bit tricky, especially when we’re trying to keep everything dry. Duliajan is a nice town though, and being part of the community here matters to us. We just spend our hours doing the work, making sure the tallies are right, and talking to the drivers who come through. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We aren’t trying to do anything too complicated, just focusing on the rice and the daily routine. There’s always more grain to sort tomorrow.
