Evergreen Plantations & Minerals

Evergreen Plantations & Minerals is located right on H.S. Road. It’s an interesting mix of things we do here, handling both the plantation side and the mineral side of the business. Most days are spent either worrying about the soil and the weather or dealing with the rocks and minerals we process. H.S. Road is usually pretty busy, and we see a lot of people passing by our gates. We have a small crew that has been with us for years, and they know the land around here better than anyone. It’s hard to keep things tidy when you’re working with dirt and minerals, so the place usually looks like work is actually happening. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a practical setup where we can keep our tools and do our planning. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult for the plantation side, and other times it’s the heat that slows us down on the mineral processing. We just take it day by day. People in the neighborhood know us as the place on H.S. Road that’s always got something going on. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't; we just focus on the tasks at hand. Whether it's checking on the growth of the plants or sorting through minerals, there is always plenty to do before the sun goes down. Our boots are always covered in something, whether it’s mud from the plantation or grit from the minerals. It’s just the way it goes when you’re out on H.S. Road. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything. We just hope things go well.
