Aditya Paints

Aditya Paints is tucked away in Tezpur, right in the Sonitpur area. We are actually quite close to the Mahabhairav Mandir, which most people use as a landmark to find us. It’s a nice part of town, especially when there are festivals at the mandir. The shop stays busy with people coming in for different things. We spend a lot of our time moving cans around and making sure we have enough of everything on the shelves. It’s a bit of a workout, honestly. The building is old but we keep it up as best we can. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything. It’s more of a warehouse feel where you can see everything we have right in front of you. Sometimes the narrow streets make deliveries a bit of a headache, but we manage. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people who walk past our door. It’s a small team here, just a couple of us doing the heavy lifting. We don't really do much advertising. Most people just hear about us from their neighbors or see us when they go to the temple. The floors are always a bit stained with different colors, but that’s just part of the job. We keep it simple and just focus on getting through the daily list. There is always plenty to do and we just stay busy with it until the sun goes down.
