200 Bedded Ch, Goalpara

This is the 200 Bedded Ch located in the Goalpara area of Dibrugarh. We are situated in the 786001 region of Assam. Being a hospital with two hundred beds, we stay quite busy most of the time. It is a government facility, so there are always people coming and going from all over the district. The hallways are usually full of families waiting for their relatives. We have nurses and doctors running around trying to keep everything under control. It is not a fancy private clinic with soft carpets. It is a practical building with white walls and metal beds. The smell of disinfectant is everywhere. We deal with all sorts of cases, from small injuries to more serious stuff. Goalpara is a decent area but it can get quite muddy when the rains come to Dibrugarh. We have seen many storms from these windows over the years. The staff here works long shifts and we all know each other pretty well by now. We do not have any big mission statements on the walls. We just come in, put on our uniforms, and start looking after the patients. Some days we run out of space and have to manage with what we have. It is just the reality of a busy public hospital in this part of Assam. We try to keep the place running as smoothly as we can under the circumstances we deal with every single day.
