Patra Enterprise

Patra Enterprise is located in the village of Laxmi Janardhan Pur. We are right near the Lakshmi Janardanpur High School, which is a good landmark if you are looking for us. Being out here in the Patharpratima area of 24 Parganas South means we serve a lot of the local farming families and school staff. Our shop is a basic setup. We sell a bit of everything, from school supplies to small hardware items and household essentials. It’s a quiet life out here for the most part. We know everyone in the village and they know us. We don't have a website or any fancy advertisements. If someone needs something, they just walk over or send one of their kids down to the shop. The building is simple and we keep the stock organized as best as we can. Some days when school lets out, it gets very loud and busy with students coming in for pens or snacks. We’ve lived in this village our whole lives, so running this business feels natural. It’s not a big corporate venture. It’s just a way to provide for the community and keep ourselves occupied. We deal with the seasons as they come, whether it's the monsoon rains making the roads muddy or the dry heat of the summer. It’s a humble place, but it’s ours and we are glad to be here. There is always someone stopping by for a chat while they pick up their supplies.
