Punjabi University

This office is located in Gobindgarh Mandi, specifically in Sector 4B. It’s a busy area because of all the steel mills and factories nearby, but we are tucked away at number 226. We handle a lot of the administrative side of things here. There are always piles of papers on the desks and students or parents coming in to ask about admissions or exam dates. The fans are usually humming in the background while we try to keep everything organized. It’s not always easy keeping track of all the records, but we do our bit every day. The building itself is quite plain, and we don't spend much time on decorations. We mostly focus on getting the forms signed and the queries answered. Sometimes the internet goes slow, and we have to wait a bit, which can be frustrating when there is a long line. Outside, the street is usually dusty because of the trucks passing through the mandi. We have our small lunch breaks where we share food and talk about what’s happening in the town. It is a steady kind of life, working for the university in this part of Punjab. Most of us have been here for years, so we know the routines by heart. It’s just a regular office doing regular work for the people around here who need help with their education paperwork. Every year the cycle starts over again and the office stays full.
