National Tea Company

We’re located over in the Yash Chaudhary Market, right in the heart of the Industrial Estate. National Tea Company has been around this area for a while. The air always smells a bit like dried leaves and burlap around our warehouse. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not the prettiest place to visit, with trucks coming and going and plenty of noise from the neighboring units. We deal with tea, plain and simple. We get the big sacks in, sort through things, and get them ready for whoever needs them. It’s dusty work and can be quite tiring during the summer months when the warehouse gets hot. We don't have a fancy tasting room or any of that stuff you see in movies. Usually, we just brew a pot in the back for ourselves while we work. The floors are concrete and the desks are old, but it’s a functional space. We know our tea though. We can tell the difference between batches just by the feel of the leaves. We sell to local shops and vendors who know where to find us. We don’t do much advertising. People just know that if they come to the market and look for us, they’ll get what they need. There’s no big story here, just a lot of hard work and many cups of tea to keep us going through the day. It's a steady life in the industrial estate and we wouldn't change it.
