Krishna Castings & Engineering Works

We are based at C-043 in the Focal Point area of Mandi. It is an industrial zone, so it is exactly what you would expect—lots of noise, lots of heavy machinery, and plenty of hard work. Krishna Castings & Engineering Works is a place where we deal with heat and metal every single day. The foundry can get incredibly hot, especially during the summer months, but we’ve all grown used to it over the years. Our shed at C-043 isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but inside we are busy casting parts and doing engineering repairs. We don’t have a website that we update or any of those modern marketing things. Most people find us because they know we are here at Focal Point and they know we do the work. The floor is covered in sand and metal shavings, and the walls are a bit dark from the smoke, but that’s just how a casting works should look. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high and usually finish up when the light starts to fade. It is a tough job, and it’s not for everyone, but we just keep on making things from scratch. We’ve been in Mandi for a long time, and we don’t see ourselves moving anywhere else anytime soon. It is a simple life of labor and metal.
