G G H Rice Co is located right on the NH-1, along the G. T. Road. We are on the Sirhind side, pretty much right across from the Radha Swami Satsang Ghar. It’s a busy spot with trucks and cars flying by all day long on the highway. Being in the rice business means things get pretty dusty around here, especially when the season is in full swing. We spend our days managing the grain and making sure everything is moving like it should. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping an eye on the weather. The location is good because the highway makes it easy for transport, even if the noise never really stops. We’ve been here long enough that the Satsang Ghar across the road is our main landmark for anyone trying to find us. It’s not a fancy corporate setup. It is a rice company, so there are sacks everywhere and the smell of grain is always in the air. We start early in the morning and usually don't finish until late, depending on how much rice is coming in. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the rice and the road. It’s a simple life, mostly just dealing with farmers and drivers and making sure the quality stays where it needs to be for the people buying from us. There’s always someone coming in to check the loads or discuss the prices.
