Arihant Rice Mills

Arihant Rice Mills is located in Village Naudhrani, specifically along Sherpur Road. Being in a village means the pace is a bit different than the city. We are surrounded by fields, and our daily rhythm follows the seasons of the rice crop. The mill is a large structure that stands out a bit on Sherpur Road. Inside, it is all about the machinery and the grain. We have bins full of rice at various stages of the process. It is a noisy place when everything is switched on, but there is a certain satisfaction in the sound of a well-running machine. We don't have any corporate branding or a human resources department. If there’s an issue, we just talk it out over a cup of chai. The people who work here are our neighbors from Naudhrani and the nearby villages. We know the land and we know the crop. Sometimes the road to Sherpur gets a bit rough after a heavy rain, which can make things tricky for the transport trucks, but we always find a way to manage. We aren't looking to change the world or anything like that. We just want to process the rice properly and keep the mill running for another year. It is a straightforward way to make a living, and it keeps us connected to the ground. We open the gates early and stay until the day’s work is done.
