Vrushabh Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Pimpalnertq Sakri in Dhule. Most of us here grew up around these fields. It’s just how things are in this part of Maharashtra. We handle a lot of the day-to-day work from Chandrakala Bhatu Nandan’s place. There isn't a big office or anything fancy, just a room where we keep our papers and talk about the crops. Sometimes the rain is good and sometimes it isn't, but that’s farming for you. We started this group because it’s easier to deal with things together rather than everyone going at it alone. Usually, we meet up in the mornings before it gets too hot to see what needs doing with the seeds or the harvest. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping track of who is growing what this season. People in the village know where to find us if they have questions about the market or getting supplies. We just try to keep things moving so everyone can get through the year. It’s quiet out here in Pimpalnertq most of the time. We don't have a big staff, just a few local folks who know the land well. We spend most of our time outside or talking to the other farmers in the area. It is a simple way of living and working. We just do what needs to be done every day to keep the farm work going. It’s a long road but we are all in it together to make sure the crops get harvested.
