You can find our place in Shree Guru Colony, which is part of the Mangalmurti Colony area. We are quite close to the Hinduja Hospital, so that’s the landmark we usually tell people to look for. Even though it’s a fairly quiet residential spot, we run our earthmoving business right from here. We have different kinds of digging machines that we use for various jobs around town. One day we might be helping with house foundations, and the next we are clearing out old lots. Maintenance on the machines makes a bit of noise, but the neighbors are mostly used to it by now. Our staff is small, just a few reliable operators who really know how to handle the heavy stuff. It involves a lot of manual work and getting dirty, but that’s just the nature of this business. Shri Krishna Earth Movers was started because of all the building projects happening in this part of the city. Providing the equipment people were asking for seemed like a practical idea. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. Most people find us through word of mouth or by seeing the address near the hospital. We just focus on keeping the machines in good working order so they are ready whenever someone calls. It’s steady work that keeps us occupied. We keep a stash of extra parts in the shed just in case something breaks. The yard gets a bit dusty, but we try to keep things as tidy as possible.
