If you ever go down to the Bhaji Market in Chalisgaon, you will find us right opposite the Shani Mandir. It is a very lively part of town. There is always the sound of vendors and people buying vegetables right outside our door. It makes the morning start early for us. Being near the temple means there is a lot of foot traffic all day long. The clinic itself is quite simple. We have been here for a good amount of time, and most of the market sellers know us well. They often drop in during their breaks if they aren't feeling right. It’s a bit dusty because of the road and the market activity, but we do our best to sweep up and keep the inside tidy. Sometimes the smell of fresh coriander or onions drifts in from the stalls across the street. It’s not like those quiet, sterile hospitals in the big cities. This is a real, working-class area. People come in with all sorts of minor issues. We listen, we check them over, and we do what needs doing. The space is a little old-fashioned, but it works for the community here. Parking a car is almost impossible in the market, so most people come on foot or leave their cycles a bit further down. It’s just how Chalisgaon life is. We are part of the daily bustle.
