Jadhav &sons is located right in Sant Gadge Baba Colony, over at number 14. We are in Deopur, which is a quiet enough area for a business like ours. It started small and it’s still just us running things day to day. We handle a bit of everything that the local folks might need for their houses. Being in a colony means we know most of our neighbors. It isn’t like those big shops in the city center where nobody knows your name. We have some storage space here and we try to keep it organized, though sometimes boxes pile up near the entrance. My sons and I handle the orders and the heavy lifting. We usually start the day early before the sun gets too hot. It’s a lot of paperwork and making sure the supplies arrive on time from the wholesalers. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just drop by or give us a call when they need something specific. It’s been this way for years. We’ve seen the colony change a lot, but our spot stays the same. The gate is usually open during business hours. We mostly just focus on getting the work done and making sure the counts are correct. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit when it's quiet. It is just a basic family operation and we like it that way.
