Hotel Vanshri Bhoj

Our hotel is out on the New Bombay Highway in Vaijapur. If you are looking for us, we are in the Ghaygaon Shiwar area of Aurangabad. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, but we are right there on the highway for travelers. The 423701 postcode covers quite a bit of ground. Hotel Vanshri Bhoj has both rooms and a place to eat. Most of the people who stop here are long-distance drivers or families traveling across Maharashtra. The building is large and stands out on the road. We have a big parking area which is usually full of trucks at night. I spend most of my time in the dining area making sure the food is ready and the tables are wiped down. The kitchen is always busy. It gets quite hot in there during the lunch rush. We don't have any fancy decorations, just wooden tables and plastic chairs. The rooms are upstairs. They are simple and kept clean, though the highway noise never really stops. We don't do much advertising; the sign on the highway does the work for us. It is a busy life, especially during the harvest season when more trucks are moving on the road. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is a lot of physical labor, cleaning and cooking and carrying bags. We have been here for several years now.
