People usually find us because we are right near Indira hospital here in Shirpur. It’s a busy spot especially when the morning clinic starts. We spend a lot of time just keeping the shelves straight and checking the stock. The shop isn't that big but it stays full of supplies that folks around here need. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise but we got used to it. Most days it’s just us handing over medicine and writing down what needs to be ordered for the next day. The rain yesterday made the road outside a bit muddy so we spent half the morning cleaning the floor every time someone walked in. We’ve been at this address for a long time now. It’s just the way things go in a small town pharmacy. You see the same faces every week. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the deliveries come late and there are boxes sitting in the corner for a few hours. It’s not fancy or anything. Just a regular place with enough light and rows of white boxes. Sometimes we sit outside on the bench when it’s quiet just to get some air. The hospital keeps us busy though so those quiet moments don't last very long. We just keep the doors open and do the work. It’s a simple routine that hasn't changed much over the years. We just make sure we have what people are looking for.
