Five star medical

Five star medical is our shop located on Mirza Galifa Road, right at the Agbar Chowk. If you know the area, you know it’s always crowded and there’s always something going on outside. We’ve got a lot of stock squeezed into this space because people come in looking for all kinds of things at all hours. We spend most of our day behind the counter, reaching for boxes on high shelves or checking prescriptions that people bring in. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The shelves are packed tight, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone needs among all the different brands. Being at Agbar Chowk means we see a lot of faces, some regulars and some just passing through. We try to keep things moving so the line doesn't get too long, though sometimes it’s unavoidable. The noise from the road is just part of the background now. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person; we just open the shutters every morning and start work. It’s about making sure we have the basics in stock and helping people who might be feeling a bit under the weather. We’ve been here long enough that we know the rhythms of the street. It’s a simple business, really. We just provide medicine and health supplies to whoever needs them. It’s busy, it’s a bit messy at times, but it’s our shop.
