Deore Healthcare Foundation

If you're looking for us, we're out in Dahiwad, which is part of Chalisgaon in the Jalgaon district. The office is basically at Shri Ashok Jamrao Deore’s place. It’s a small town, so everyone knows where everyone else is. We aren't a big hospital or some huge medical center with shiny floors. We’re just the Deore Healthcare Foundation, working out of a modest space. Most of the time, things are pretty slow and quiet until someone needs something. The road through Chalisgaon can be a bit rough during the monsoon, but we’re used to it. We just set up a few tables and some chairs to get our work done. It’s not a place with a lot of staff in uniforms. Usually, it's just a couple of us handling whatever comes up. We spend a lot of time talking to folks from the nearby villages. It's more of a community thing than a business. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just hear about us through word of mouth. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit and wait for it to come back. It’s a practical way of doing things. We’ve been here for a while and don't plan on moving. It’s just how things are in our corner of Jalgaon. We do what we can with what we have.
