Bamankar & Sons Textile Private Limited

We are over in Dhule, specifically near the Uttar Mukhi Maruti Mandir. It’s a landmark everyone knows around here. Bamankar & Sons Textile is really just a family operation. We set up shop at Sarang Joshi’s place in Wadi. The temple bells are something you get used to hearing all day long. It's a busy little pocket of the city. We have a lot of history in this street. My sons and I spend the majority of our time looking over the cloth and managing the orders that come through. It’s not some big corporate factory. It's more of a workshop where we keep things tight and focused. We often have people dropping in because they saw the sign or they know the family. The space is a bit crowded with rolls of fabric and old ledger books. We don't use much fancy technology, just the stuff that has worked for us for years. Dhule can get really hot in the summer months, so we try to do the heavy lifting in the morning hours. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the market prices. It’s a simple life. We don’t have a website or a marketing person. We just have our names on the door and our work to show for it. Sometimes the neighbors come by to complain about the noise, but we’re all friends here. We just keep the business going as best as we can.
