Down on Jamnagar Road in Dhule, things stay pretty steady at the heart center. We deal with some serious stuff here, being a critical care spot. It’s not the kind of place people visit for fun, obviously. Usually, it’s families coming in looking a bit tired or worried. We have the machines for the heart tests and the beds for the ones who need to stay over. The monitors are always beeping in the background, which you get used to after a few hours. It’s a lot of monitoring blood pressure and making sure meds are right. Dhule is a busy place, and being right on the main road means we get people coming in from all over the surrounding areas. We’ve got a small team. Everyone knows their job. Sometimes the night shifts are long, especially when a patient comes in late with chest pain. We just get to work. There isn’t much time for small talk when things get intense in the critical care unit. It’s about keeping people stable. The building itself is simple, nothing too modern to look at, but it works for what we need to do. We keep the floors clean and the equipment ready. People come in, they get their treatment, and hopefully, they get to go back home to their families soon. That’s really the whole point of being here. It’s honest work, even if it’s stressful sometimes. The tea shop nearby is where we grab a quick snack before heading back inside to check the charts again.
