Jiban Sangi India Nidhi Limited is based right here in Rajapara, specifically in the Part II Bargaon section. If you are in the South East part of Bargaon in Kokrajhar, you’ve probably been near our place. It is just a modest building where a few of us show up every morning to start the day. We don't have any flashy signs or anything like that. Inside, it is mostly just desks, a few old computers, and stacks of paper that we keep neat. The life here is pretty slow, and we like it that way. We spend our time helping the people from the village with their small savings and loans. Most of the folks who walk through our door are people we see at the market or at local events. We don’t treat anyone like a stranger. We sit down, have some tea, and talk about the weather or the crops before we look at any documents. The building gets a bit hot in the summer, but we have some fans that do the job. We aren't some big corporate office from a movie. We are just local people trying to make things a bit easier for our neighbors. Every day is pretty much the same, with the same faces and the same tasks, but it feels good to be part of the community. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
