Green-Grow Farmers Producer Company Limited

We started Green-Grow Farmers Producer Company Limited a little while back here in Golakganj. Our office is actually over at Mazibar Rahaman’s place, right near where the late Safar Sheikh lived in Debottar, Hasdaha. It’s a quiet spot in Pt5. Most of us here are just local folks trying to figure out how to do things better together. Working the land in this part of Assam isn't always the easiest thing. You deal with the weather and the markets, and sometimes it feels like you're just spinning your wheels. So we decided to group up. We handle a lot of the day-to-day stuff that comes with farming life. Someone is usually around the office if you need to drop by, though we might be out in the fields if the sun is out. We don't have a big fancy building or anything like that. Just a simple setup to keep the records straight and talk about what crops are looking good this season. It's a lot of work getting everyone on the same page, but we're getting there slowly. We mostly talk about seeds, soil, and how to get a fair price for what we grow. There isn't much to it other than hard work and showing up every morning. If you're looking for us, just head toward Hasdaha and ask around for the Rahaman house. We'll be there, probably drinking tea and talking about the rain.
