Simandhar Enterprise

Simandhar Enterprise is located out in Dhoraji, specifically near Aieea Chowk and the Neelkanth Medical store. We are based in the village area of Dhoraji, which is part of the Rajkot district. It’s a very local operation here. Our building is simple and serves as both a storage space and a small office. We deal with various goods that the local farmers and residents need, mostly related to hardware or small industrial items. Since we are near the Neelkanth Medical shop, people usually find us easily when they come into the main part of the village for their errands. The pace of life here is slower than in Rajkot city. We know most of our customers by name because they are our neighbors or people from the surrounding Tehsil. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a few hours and we just sit outside and talk until it comes back on. We don’t have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure we have the items people are looking for when they walk in. Our records are kept in simple notebooks and we don't have a lot of modern technology around the office. The dust from the road often blows into the shop, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. It’s a small, honest business that fits the quiet atmosphere of Dhoraji village and helps us earn a decent living.
