Being on the highway means we see a lot of people passing by every day. We deal with heavy stone, so our yard is full of marble and granite slabs. It’s not the cleanest place to work because of all the stone cutting and polishing. We have water running over the saws all day to keep the dust down. It’s just me and a few guys working here. We don't have a showroom with fancy lights. The slabs are just leaning against the racks outside. If you want to see what we have, you just walk around the plot. The highway noise can be a bit much sometimes, but you get used to it. We’ve been at this location for a good while and the dairy farm nearby is a good landmark for people looking for us. We aren't sales people; we just show you the stone and tell you how much it is. We don't use any complicated talk. Just simple granite and marble for whatever project you’re doing. It’s hard work on the back, but we like being outdoors and working with our hands. Sometimes the wind picks up off the road and blows dust everywhere, but that’s just part of being out here. We take pride in just getting the job done without any fancy tricks or long meetings.
