Maruti Plastic

We deal with plastic here in the town of Dhoraji. Our place is right on the Junagadh Road. It’s a busy road with lots of trucks passing by at all hours of the day and night. We make different kinds of plastic items for people to use. The machines run most of the day and they make a lot of heat. It’s quite warm inside the factory floor even with the fans going. We have stacks of bins and plastic parts everywhere you look. I started this place because I needed to make a living and it just grew over the years. It's not a glamorous life or a fancy career. We just make sure the stuff is good enough for everyday use. Dhoraji is a good town for this kind of business. We know the neighbors and the other shop owners. Sometimes the power goes out for a few hours and we just have to sit and wait. That’s just how it is in this area. We have a small team of workers who have been with me for a while. They are good people who work hard. We don't use big fancy marketing or have a website. We just sell what we make to the people who need it. The raw materials arrive in big heavy bags on the trucks. We process them and turn them into something useful for the home or shop. It’s a simple process but it takes a lot of time to get it right. I spend a lot of time on the floor.
