Ag Granites & Marbels

Ag Granites & Marbels is located at 87-6-12 in Kothapeta. We are right near the government office, so most people use that as a landmark when they are coming to see us. The yard is usually quite full of different slabs that we have brought in over the last few months. Some days it is very quiet and we just spend time reorganizing the granite piles so it is easier to walk through the rows. Other days, there are trucks arriving and it gets pretty loud with the cranes moving things around. Marble is heavy and fragile, so we have to be careful when we are shifting pieces for people to look at. We have been here for a while and the neighbors know us. The dust from the stone is just something we live with every day. If you walk past the government office, you can see our sign and the stacks of stone sitting out front. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that, just the warehouse and the outdoor space where the main stock stays. Most of the work involves just showing people what we have available at the moment and talking about how the different pieces look. It's a simple business, mostly about moving heavy things from one place to another and making sure the inventory is counted correctly. Kothapeta is a busy area, but once you get inside the gate, it's all about the stone and the work that needs doing every day. We just stay focused on the tasks at hand and try to keep the place running despite the constant dust.
