Our office is located inside the Vinod Dubey Hotel right on Station Road in Dholpur. It’s a busy area because of the train station, so there’s always people moving around outside. We use this space as the city office for ShriRam Group of colleges Banmore. It’s basically just a small room where students or their parents can come to ask questions or drop off papers without having to travel all the way to the main campus. We have a couple of desks, some chairs for visitors, and a lot of folders stacked up. It’s not a fancy corporate office; it’s more of a practical spot for people to find us. Most of the day is spent answering phones or explaining the different courses to anyone who walks in. Since we are in a hotel building, it feels a bit different than a regular office block, but it works for us. Dholpur gets pretty hot in the summer months, so we usually have the cooler running while we work on the computer. It’s a simple setup. We don’t do a lot of fancy advertising or anything like that. We get quite a few students or parents stopping by to drop off papers or ask about their classes. It’s closer than the main campus for most of them. We try to be helpful and get the paperwork finished as quickly as we can. It’s steady work and keeps us connected to the students in this part of town. Sometimes we have to wait for the train noise to die down before we can finish a phone call.
