You can find us on Bari Road in Dholpur. It is a straightforward drive to get here, and the school is easy to spot from the road. The area around Bari is often quite hot and dusty, so our building is a bit of a refuge from the sun during the middle of the day. We have a plain entrance and a hallway that leads to the different rooms. We do not have air conditioning in every corner, just the regular fans that hum all day long. The people who work here are mostly from Dholpur or the nearby villages. We are not a big corporate chain; we are just a school at 328021. Sometimes the goats from the nearby fields wander close to the fence, which the kids find funny. We focus on the basics here. The desks are a bit worn, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. We do not have a fancy mission statement or any of that. We just show up, open the gates, and get to work. The road outside can get busy with trucks, but inside it is mostly just the sound of pencils and voices. We have a small playground that gets a lot of use in the mornings before the heat really kicks in. It is an honest place, just doing what it can with what it has in this part of Rajasthan. People know us by our name.
