Meem Curtain

We are located at Bagatekri, right on Kacheri Road. Meem Curtain is just a small shop where we deal with all sorts of fabrics and window things. The street outside is almost always busy. You can hear the traffic from early in the morning until late at night. The building we are in is older and has its quirks, like the way the door sticks sometimes when it’s humid outside. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of fabric rolls and the smell of cotton and polyester. We don't have any fancy lighting or a big showroom. It’s just a place where we work and talk to the people who stop by. We usually have some scraps on the floor from cutting things, but we try to sweep up before we go home. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting the heavy rolls and measuring things out on the long wooden table. Most people in the Bagatekri area know us just by seeing us around every day. We aren't trying to be the biggest curtain shop in the city. We just stay here on Kacheri Road and do what we know how to do. Sometimes we have a little tea in the afternoon while looking out at the cars passing by. It’s not an exciting life, but it’s our life. We just keep things moving as best as we can without making any big fuss about it. We stay here until the evening when the street gets a bit quieter.
