People usually find us by looking for Street Number 6/4 in Jogabai Extn. It is a bit of a climb up to the third floor at F-10/41, but we have been in this part of Zakir Nagar for a good while now. The building gets a bit noisy during the day with all the traffic downstairs. Sometimes the electricity goes off and we just sit by the window waiting for it to come back. It's not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a couple of desks and plenty of fabric samples laying around. My uncle started this a few years back and I just kind of took over the day-to-day stuff. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or trying to get the delivery guys to find the right turn. Zakir Nagar is a crowded place, so things take time here. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address. Most days are quiet until the evening when the street gets really busy with food stalls and people walking. It is a decent spot to work from if you don't mind the stairs. Usually, we are here from ten in the morning until the sun goes down. Sometimes we stay late if there is a lot to pack. It's just how things go around here. We know the neighbors pretty well by now. We usually share a tea with the shopkeeper downstairs once in a while just to keep up with what is happening on the street.
