Sipra Hotel

Sipra Hotel is located in Nandapur, which is under the Dudurkote post office in the Dhenkanal district of Odisha. It’s a rural area, so things are very quiet compared to the big cities. The hotel is a basic building that caters to people traveling through the 759020 area. We don't have fancy elevators or a swimming pool. It’s mostly just rooms with the essentials and a place to sit down. The air here is cleaner than in the city, and you can see a lot of greenery around the property. We get a lot of workers and local travelers staying with us for a night or two. The kitchen stays busy making simple meals, mostly rice and dal and local vegetables. The furniture is made of wood and is quite sturdy, even if it looks a bit old-fashioned now. We spend our time checking people in and making sure the linens are washed. Sometimes the cows from the village wander near the entrance, and we have to shoo them away. It is a very grounded kind of life here in Dhenkanal. We don’t use much technology besides the basic stuff needed for the register. People come here when they need a rest from the road. It’s a family-run feeling, and we often recognize the people who come back every few months. The nights are dark and silent, which is good for sleeping.
