Our office is located out in Asurabandha, which is a bit of a trek if you aren't from around here. We operate from Niladri Bihari Dhir’s place near Chandipal. It’s a quiet area compared to the bigger towns, but we stay plenty busy with our infra projects. Most of our work involves local construction and keeping track of materials being moved through the district. The building is simple and doesn’t have a big sign out front or anything. We usually have the doors open to let the breeze in since it can get quite warm in this part of Orissa. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in what we do, so you’ll see stacks of folders on almost every surface. We know everyone in the village, and people often stop by just to say hello or ask for advice on building something. It feels more like a community hub than a strict business office. We don't have fancy office furniture, just sturdy wooden tables and chairs. Sometimes the goats from the nearby field wander close to the entrance. We handle everything from planning to managing the local labor crews from here. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we’ve been doing it for a long time. Every day brings something different, whether it's a delay in supplies or a new project starting up. We just take it as it comes. It's a simple life out here in the village.
