Nalco Ltd. Orissa

We’ve been here at Nalco Nagar in Angul for quite a while now. Our spot is at Quarter No. C-134, which is just part of the regular housing area here in Orissa. It’s a busy place with people coming and going from the plant all the time. Living and working in the same township means you get to know everyone eventually. There isn't much to say about the building itself; it’s just one of the standard quarters in the colony, but it serves us well for what we do. People around here usually know where C-134 is if they’ve been in Angul for a bit. We don't really do the big office thing with fancy lobbies or receptionists. It’s more about the day-to-day work we handle right here in the heart of the township. Some days are loud because of the nearby operations, and other days it’s just the usual sounds of the neighborhood. We’ve seen the area change over the years, but the quarters stay pretty much the same. Most of us have been around this part of Orissa long enough that we don't need a map to find our way around anymore. It’s a practical setup, nothing too special to look at, but it’s where we get things done. If you’re ever walking through Nalco Nagar, you’ll find us easily enough. We keep things simple and just focus on the tasks at hand without making a big fuss about it. It is a good community and we are glad to be part of the local scene here.
