NIHCHI CONSTRUCTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED is based in Silapathar. To be more specific, we are in Bamgaon Chilapathar, which is in the Dhemaji district of Assam, 787059. It is a quiet corner of the world compared to the big cities, but we stay very busy with the work we have. Construction in Dhemaji has its own set of hurdles, mostly to do with the landscape and getting materials out here on time. We have a small office where we handle all the planning and the phone calls. It’s nothing special, just a room with some sturdy furniture and a lot of site photos on the walls. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby to wait in. If you come by, one of the guys will probably just pull up a chair for you and offer some tea. We prefer it that way. It keeps the costs down and lets us focus on the actual building work. We’ve worked on a lot of different things around Bamgaon over the years. Everyone on the team is local, so we care about what we are doing for the community. We aren't here to make a quick buck and leave. We have our roots here. Sometimes the work is slow when the weather is bad, but we always pick it back up as soon as we can. It’s just about being consistent and showing up every day to get the jobs done.
