JLD Construction is located in Tanganapara, Ward Number 3. Jayanta Dihingia is the one who keeps everything running here and manages the site schedules. We’ve been part of this community for a long time, and our office is just a simple place where we keep our tools and meet with people to discuss their plans. Construction is a messy business, and our boots usually show it at the end of every day. We don’t really go in for the corporate look at all. Instead, we focus on the actual building part of the job. We’ve worked on various houses and small commercial structures around Tanganapara. Every project has its own set of headaches, like when the rain starts and the site becomes a giant mud pit, but we just keep going anyway. We hire local guys because they know the area and we like to keep the work nearby for everyone. We don't use big words to describe what we do. If a roof needs fixing or a foundation needs pouring, we just get it done. Sometimes we're late because the truck broke down or the delivery was delayed by traffic, but we always finish what we started. It’s important to us that people can trust what we build. We live here too, so we see our work every day when we walk down the street to the market. It's a plain, hardworking life.
