Mittal Bricks

Our yard for Mittal Bricks is right opposite the Irrigation Department on Pari Road. It’s a busy enough spot. We’ve been operating here for a while, just making bricks and selling them to whoever needs some for their construction. There’s always a lot of activity with the tractors and the loaders. The road gets a bit dusty when it’s dry, which is most of the time. We aren’t a huge corporation or anything. It’s just us and a handful of workers who know how to handle the clay and the fire. Sometimes the kiln doesn't behave perfectly, but we manage. We sell mostly to local contractors and people building their own homes. We don’t use any high-tech machines, just the old ways that still work fine for us. If you come by the office, it’s usually just someone sitting with a ledger book. We don't have a marketing department. Word of mouth is how most people find out we are here. It’s a simple business. We make the bricks, we stack them, and we sell them. Sometimes we have to wait for the soil to arrive from the fields. It’s a bit of a cycle. We try to keep things organized but a brickyard is always a bit messy by nature. Pari Road is easy to find if you’re coming from the main part of town. We’re usually around from sunrise until it gets dark. It’s the way we’ve always done it.
