Our place is called STONE BRIDGE EQUIPMENTS SOLUTION (P) LTD and we are right here in Banashankari Nagar. It’s near Kelgere Road in Dharwad. If you know the old stone bridge, you’ll find us easily. We deal with heavy equipment and various tools. It’s a dusty job most days because of the yard. We have a lot of machines sitting out back. Some are new and some have seen better days. Dharwad is a good place to be, though the weather can be unpredictable. When it rains, the yard gets pretty muddy and we have to wear our heavy boots. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls. It’s just a sturdy building with a metal roof. My brother and a few guys from the neighborhood handle the loading and unloading. We spend a lot of time fixing things that break. Equipment always needs some kind of maintenance. We keep a logbook on the desk to track everything, though sometimes we forget to write things down immediately. Customers usually just drive their trucks right in. We talk about the weather and the local news while we work. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s what we know. We’ve been here at this spot for years and don't plan on going anywhere. The name Stone Bridge comes from the local landmark nearby. It just felt right to use it for the business.
