We are based out of No. 202 in the Prathima Residency on Dr. Kabbur Road in Malamaddi. It’s a bit different because we are located within a residential-style building rather than a traditional storefront. It makes the whole atmosphere feel a lot more personal and quiet. We handle our garment business from here, focusing on the design and coordination side of things. There are always sketches and fabric swatches lying around on the tables. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us making sure everything is moving along correctly. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down and don't have too many people coming and going at odd hours. Malamaddi is a nice area, quite green compared to the more commercial parts of town. We usually start our day around ten, checking emails and then spending time with the tailors who come in to pick up patterns. It’s a lot of back and forth, honestly. Sometimes we get stuck on a design for hours, just trying to figure out how a specific seam should look. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that; we just rely on word of mouth and the work we’ve done over the years. It’s a comfortable way to work, being in a residency like this. It feels more like a home than a cold office, which I think suits the kind of things we create. We just take things one day at a time here.
