Vijayalaxmi Gears

Vijayalaxmi Gears is located at Special Plot No. 50 on Gokul Road. If you come down to the industrial area, you’ll see our sign. We make gears of all sizes. Some are small and some are quite heavy. The noise of the cutters is something you get used to after a few days. We’ve got a handful of machines that have been working hard for us for years. My brother and a few cousins help run the floor. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People just hear about us from other shops nearby. We try to make sure the teeth on the gears are cut right so they don't grind. It’s a lot of measuring and double-checking. The shop can get pretty hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going. We usually have a pile of scrap metal in the corner waiting to be hauled away. Most of our clients are local farmers or small factory owners who need a replacement part fast. We don't mind taking on small jobs that the big companies won't touch. It’s just practical work. We eat our lunch together in the back room and then get back to it. Gokul Road is a good spot for us because the suppliers are close by. We’ve been here long enough that the postman doesn't even need the full address anymore.
