Tulip Designs

Being right across from Big Bazar in Basaveshwar Nagar means there is never a dull moment at Tulip Designs. The traffic on Airport Road is constant, and the weekend rush is something else. Our office is at 112, Veeraj, in Laxmi Layout. It is a busy spot in Hubli, but it works for what we do. Inside, you will see a lot of sketches and samples lying around. We are not very good at keeping things perfectly tidy, especially when we are in the middle of a big design project. There are rolls of paper in the corners and color palettes on almost every flat surface. It’s a creative space, so a little mess is expected. We spend our days drawing, measuring, and talking about how to make spaces look better. Sometimes we disagree about a color or a layout, but that is part of the process. We are just a small team of people who like to build and create things. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us hunched over our desks. The light in the office is okay during the day, which helps with the drawing. We try to keep things practical. Most of our clients are locals who know the area well. It’s a decent place to work, even with the noise of the shoppers outside. We just keep doing our thing, one sketch at a time, right here in the middle of the bustle.
