We are situated at 2, Garag Road, right in the heart of the Belur Industrial Area. Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery Pvt Ltd has a good bit of space here, which we need because the equipment is pretty massive and takes up a lot of room. The industrial area is always humming with noise from other shops and factories nearby. It’s not the kind of place you come for a quiet stroll. Our day starts early, usually before the sun gets too high, because the heat in the workshop can get intense later on in the afternoon. The building is a bit old, with some stains on the floor and posters on the walls that have been there forever. We don't spend money on decorating or making things look pretty. It’s a working shop. We focus on the construction machinery, making sure everything is in working order for the projects around the state. Most of us have been working with these machines for a long time. You get to know their quirks and how they handle. We have a routine that works for us, and we stick to it. If you come by, you'll see a lot of steel and hear the sound of impact wrenches. It's a busy atmosphere but we like it that way. No one here is trying to be a salesperson or use fancy language. We just handle the mechanical side of things and keep the logs updated as best we can.
