Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheswara College Of Dental Sciences & Hospital

This place is located on Sattur Road in Dhavala Nagar. It is quite a long name for a school, so most people around here just call it the dental college or the hospital. We have a dual setup here. One side is for the students who are learning how to be dentists, and the other side is the hospital where we treat people from the local area. It’s a busy place from early morning until late in the evening. You’ll see students in their white coats everywhere, carrying books or dental tools between buildings. The hospital side is always full of people waiting their turn for a checkup or a procedure. It smells like a typical clinic—a mix of cleaning supplies and medicine. We have been on this road for a long time and have become a bit of a landmark for anyone needing dental work. The building is large and has many different sections for various types of treatments. It’s not a quiet place; there is always the sound of machines or people talking in the hallways. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls. It’s all very practical and focused on the work at hand. The students work hard because the dental courses are quite difficult. We just try to keep the equipment working and the schedules moving so that the patients are seen and the students learn what they need for their future. It’s a lot of coordination every single day.
