Sdm Naryana Hrudayalaya Heart Centre

We are located over in Manjushree Nagar, right here in Sattur. Most days start pretty early because the heart centre gets busy fast. You see people coming in from the morning onwards, some looking a bit worried and others just here for their regular checkups. Sdm Naryana Hrudayalaya Heart Centre has been part of this neighborhood for a while now. The building is easy to find if you know the area, but sometimes the traffic in Sattur makes it a bit of a crawl to get here. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of names being called and the nurses hurrying around. We spend a lot of time talking to families in the waiting room. It isn't a fancy place with lots of decorations, just a practical setup for people who need their hearts looked at. Sometimes the chairs are all full, and people have to stand near the door, which isn't ideal but that's how it goes on Tuesdays. We try to keep things moving. The doctors stay quite late most evenings. People often ask if we are part of the college, and we just point them toward the main roads. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation here. We see a lot of the same faces from the local blocks, which is nice because you get to know folks after a while. It’s a job that keeps everyone on their toes, that is for sure.
