Sachin General Store

My shop is at 46/57-9 in Benakatti, right on the Tallur Main Road. It is not a very big place, just a regular general store where people from around here stop by for their daily things. I spend most of my day sitting behind the counter or stacking the shelves when new stock arrives. We have the usual stuff like soap, biscuits, and some grains. The road outside stays quite busy during the mornings because everyone is heading to work or school. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the traffic on the main road, but we keep cleaning it up. I’ve lived around here for a long time, so most people who walk in are neighbors I recognize. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just rows of items that folks actually need. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late and we have to wait around. My family helps out too when it gets crowded. It is a simple way of living. Usually, I open up early and stay until the sun goes down. There is always something to count or a customer asking for a specific brand of tea. If we don’t have it, I try to get it the next time I go to the bigger market. Life in Benakatti moves at its own pace. It is just a regular shop where we try to keep things organized. Nothing more, nothing less.
