Prakash General Stores

We are located at 71/1 Pendar Galli in Hubli. It’s a busy little area. Our shop has been around for a long time, selling all kinds of general items. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just the name. Inside, it is full of jars and boxes. We keep pulses, rice, and basic toiletries. The street outside is usually crowded with people and scooters. Sometimes it’s hard for the delivery trucks to get through. We just make do with what we have. It’s a family-run kind of thing. We don’t use computers for everything. Most of the time, we just remember the prices or look at the labels. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe. But people seem to like it that way. We get a lot of regulars who have been coming here since they were young. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven’t gotten around to it yet. We are too busy keeping the shelves stocked. It’s a noisy, lively place to be. We just keep doing our work every day and helping whoever walks through the door. That is all there is to it. When the lights go out, we use a torch to find things for the customers. It’s just a normal day at the store for us. It gets a bit chaotic on market days, but we manage to stay open through it all.
