Patil & Ashok Masala Products

Our place is over at Bdp Plaza on Karnataka Bank Road in the Ncm area. It is a busy spot and we have been here for a while now. Patil & Ashok Masala Products is what we do, mostly grinding and mixing spices for people who need them. You can usually tell where we are because of the strong smell of chili and turmeric in the hallway. It makes some people sneeze when they first walk in, but we have gotten used to it over the years. It is a small shop and we don't have a lot of room for fancy displays. We keep the masala bags stacked up towards the back and have a few simple counters for when customers come in. There are just a few of us working here, mostly family and some local help. We don't use any big fancy machines, just the ones that get the job done right. The road outside is always noisy with traffic and people going to the bank, but inside we just focus on the spices. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just make sure the spices are fresh and the packets are filled up properly. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until we close up at night. If you are looking for real masalas without any fuss, we are usually around. It’s just a plain old business that keeps things simple for the neighborhood.
