Padmaja Industries

Padmaja Industries is located over at Site No 40 on Street No 5 in the Belur Industrial Area. If you know the area, you know it's full of small and medium shops all doing different things. We are just one of them. Our building is a simple structure that gets the job done. We spend most of our time on the production floor. There is usually a bit of a mess with scraps and tools scattered around while we are in the middle of a project. We try to keep things organized, but when things get busy, that often goes out the window. We’ve been at this site for quite some time now. Most of the neighbors know us, and we sometimes borrow tools from each other. It’s a community of workers. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning. We just have the workshop and a small corner where we keep the books. The roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains really hard, but we just move the machines out of the way. It’s just regular work for us. We come in early, do what needs doing, and head home when the sun goes down. There’s nothing complicated about how we run things. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure everything leaving the shop is decent. That’s our routine every single week, year after year, and we like it.
