You can find us in Dajibanpeth, right near the old Prabhat Studio. Hubli is a busy place and this area is right in the thick of it. We deal with ceramics and tiles all day long. The shop isn't anything too special to look at from the outside, but we have what people need. Most of our day is spent unloading crates or showing different patterns to local builders. The dust from the road comes in sometimes so we are always wiping down the displays. It's a family-style environment here. We know the other shop owners on the street well. If you come by, you’ll likely see us drinking chai or checking the ledger. The building is older, which gives it a bit of character. We don't use a lot of fancy software to run things, just a pen and a notebook mostly. People come to us because we've been in Hubli for a long time. It gets crowded on market days, so getting a truck in and out can be a real headache. We have various types of tiles stacked up in the back. It’s heavy work and our hands are usually a bit rough from handling the stone and clay products. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people just know we are here by the studio. It’s a straightforward business and we just keep at it every day. The noise of the city is just part of the background for us now, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
