We are located at Ibrahim Khan’s place in Bhavani Nagar, which is in the Sarsatpur area of Dharwad. It’s a fairly quiet spot, away from the really heavy city noise. The office here isn't anything fancy. We have our samples and our paperwork spread out across a few tables. It feels a bit like a workshop sometimes because of all the ceramics stuff lying around. We’ve been in Dharwad for a while now and we like the pace here. It’s not as rushed as the bigger cities. Most of our day is spent talking to people about orders or checking on the stock we have. It’s a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything. One minute you might be on the phone and the next you’re helping move a crate. We don't have a big corporate manual or anything like that. We just know what needs to be done and we do it. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, and we have to give the place a good sweep. It’s a real place with real people. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny lobby. We just want to get the ceramics where they need to go and make sure the numbers are right at the end of the month. It’s a good, steady way to work. We like being part of the neighborhood here and keeping things simple for the folks we deal with.
