Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

My name is Veeresh Hottimath and I live on Jolad Street in Hubli. My house is number 16/7 on the 1st Cross. I’ve been working as a mechanical maintenance engineer for quite a while now. Hubli is a busy place and there’s always some machinery that needs a look. I work out of my home mostly, keeping my tools and gear in a small shed out back. It’s not a big corporate setup. It’s just me and my experience with engines and mechanical parts. People in the neighborhood know they can come by if their equipment starts making a weird noise. I spend a lot of my time taking things apart and putting them back together again. Sometimes I have parts left over and have to start over, but that’s just how it goes sometimes. It’s a lot of manual labor and my hands are usually stained with oil by noon. I don't have a fancy website or any marketing stuff. I just rely on people telling their friends that I can fix things. The 1st Cross can get a bit crowded with traffic, but it’s a good place to live and work. I try to keep my workspace organized but it usually ends up a mess by Tuesday afternoon. I just like the feeling of fixing something that was broken and seeing it run again. It’s honest work and it keeps me busy enough to not worry about much else in the world.
